Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our premium mulberry paper and handmade stationery.

What exactly is Mulberry Paper (Kozo)?

Mulberry paper, also known as Kozo, is a handmade paper crafted from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. It is celebrated for its exceptional strength, flexibility, and unique translucent texture, making it ideal for art, interior design, and gift wrapping.

How do you ensure the quality and consistency of your paper?

Every sheet at Kozo Studio is handmade by skilled artisans. We maintain strict quality control throughout the pulping and drying processes to ensure that while every sheet has a unique organic character, the weight and color remain consistent for your projects.

What are your shipping rates and delivery times?

We ship worldwide directly from our studio. Standard shipping typically takes 7-14 business days, while express options are available for delivery within 3-5 business days. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and destination.

How is the paper packaged to prevent damage during transit?

We take great care in our packaging. Large sheets are typically rolled in heavy-duty mailing tubes, while smaller sheets and stationery are packed flat with rigid backing to ensure they arrive in pristine condition without creases or tears.

What is your return policy if I am not satisfied?

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you can return unused and undamaged items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Please note that custom-cut orders or special commissions may be subject to different terms.

Is your paper production environmentally friendly?

Yes. Mulberry paper is highly sustainable as the trees are not cut down; only the bark is harvested, allowing the tree to continue growing. We use traditional, eco-friendly methods and natural dyes whenever possible to minimize our environmental footprint.
